GCSE Science Revision: Group 7 Part 1
In this video, we start looking at Group 7, which is also called the Halogens (which means “salt maker” although you don’t need to know that). We look at the melting and boiling points of the halogens and use these to explain their physical states at room temperature (ie whether the element is a solid, liquid or gas). We then go on to explore why the halogens consist of molecules with two halogen atoms. In the next video, we look at how the halogens react.
